Summer 2011

I sit here in Morrisons Cafe awaiting my much anticipated traditional breakfast thinking to myself, ‘it’s really about time that I write my annual blog post on my website’

Once again I find myself in the unfortunately over familiar situation of apologising to both of my readers for not writing in so long!

Since I last wrote a lot has happened! I had a pretty immense summer… Starting off with a couple of weeks in Fuertaventura, got some good sun, and did some surfing, which on a couple of occasions I thought was going to kill me! And I also went scuba diving along with Katie and her family which was incredible! Can’t wait to do it again sometime…

I played some keys at new wine CSW with my good friend Jamie Thomson, and funnily enough I spotted myself on the promo video for new wine 2012 haha! – minor claim to fame… Very minor.

We took St Thomas’ youth to Grapevine in August, and just last weekend got back from another weekend away with them in Wales, which I will try and write about this week…

The archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams came up to a very sunny chesterfield the St Thomas’ centre and St Thomas’ Coffeebar finally, which was a very exciting day… You can check out the website here… www.stthomascoffeebar.co.uk

That’s about all I can remember right now! But I would say it’s been a great summer, lots to be thankful for…

In other news I have 2 gigs coming up, and i’d love it If you were able to pop down…

26th November at the St Thomas’ Centre, I’m holding a concert in the Coffeebar, gonna be a bit of a Christmas feel. Tickets £3, let me know if your interested.

19th December – the winding wheel, I’m playing some songs as part of an event that New Life Church are putting on, I think Hannah Howe is also playing, so it should be a good night :)

I solemnly swear, that I will update this blog again before 2013. Thanks for reading.
