Well, this has been a very hot week, absolutely loved the weather! And it is still very warm! I am currently sat doing sound for a wedding reception, overheating in trousers and a shirt, i had to sack in the idea of a tie halfway through because it was too much! Can’t wait to go home and get some shorts on! Luckily i am getting paid to be here
So this week has been a week of lots of songwriting, very very nearly finished a song i have been working on with Rich. I wrote the initial song about a year ago now, but over the past few months Rich has been stretching me to make it better and improve it, and it’s very nearly there! The reason for the big push this week was because Rich wanted to use it in Church tomorrow, unfortunately it isn’t quite ready yet. I sent it to Simon Ponsonby the other day, the Pastor of Theology here, just for him to check through it, make sure it is all theologically accurate and stuff. So he gave me some good thoughts on it, which inspired a couple more changes, so we are now just searching for one or two lyric changes. I will post the lyrics up here when we are done!!
Managed to play a couple of games of tennis in the past couple of days, found out there are free courts about a 15 minute walk from the house, which are very good! So hopefully will get chance to go back there soon. I have also upgraded the memory on my Macbook Now it should allow me to run Logic Studio, which i am very excited to purchase, hopefully will even use it when i play keys at new wine! Should be sweet.
I also gave into a little craving and ordered Football Manager for my Mac! I found it for £19 and i said to myself ‘That’s too expensive, if i see it for under £15 then i will buy it!’ Sure enough the next website i looked on were selling it for £14.99 with free postage and packaging! Bargain
