Snow Patrol

So last night i trekked up north again to venture into the wonderful world of Sheffield arena, with my wonderful Katie, To see Snow Patrol.

And, it was amazing! Just song after song of lovely catchy music all played brilliantly, they kept surprising me when the songs all kicked in with a sound that i didn’t think was possible to come from 5 or 6 people! Just amazing!

About halfway through the lead singer ran off stage to leave the rest of the band playing some awesome instrumental stuff. No one was quite sure where he is. As the song finished the stage went dark, and there he was right in the middle of the arena at the side with an acoustic guitar! He proceeded to introduce himself to the guy sat next to him, and then said ‘Simon, would you mind holding my microphone?’ So as Simon held his microphone he continued to sing Run with just the guitar, and the rest of the arena, pretty cool way to do their most well known song!

It was all pretty amazing though i loved it! Though on the way home we did nearly die (Slight exaggeration) Just driving back through Sheffield and i see a car speeding up behind me in my mirror, i’m thinking whats he doing I’m in the outside lane, and there’s a car coming in front! But no, he continues to pull out in front of this car, just gets in in time as the car coming the opposite way swerves out the way a little, i look to my right at the car who swerved… Police car! ‘Yes!’ i think, so the Police car turns round sticks the lights on and comes speeding after the car now in front of me! Who has tried getting ahead abit, and then pulls in just round the corner and switches his lights off thinking the Police may not see him. I am not going to risk that, so i stop in the road behind him with me indicator on! Yes the police see him, result! What an idiot! I drive off to enjoy the rest of my journey knowing he now has a hefty fine in his hand, i hope (in a loving Christian way!)
