I forgot to mention, yesterday i have a very fun visit to ‘Mr Shoe’ in the attempt to buy some Wellies, which i have wanted for a while now. I decided to get them before the weekend away if i could because it may be muddy if we go for a walk, and canvas doesn’t do too good in the wet!
And there they were, in all their green glory. The ones! I had a quick try on, but to be honest, a Welly is a Welly, so obviously they were fine! And as i approached the till ready to pay the £19.99 that was stuck on them the man, in a generous voice speaks out… ‘Thats £14.99 please’… Result! Enough said
I did struggle slightly on the way home, with the huge paper bag they came in, i nearly took out most of Oxfords population!
