Yesterday was my day off, i enjoyed a lie in till probably a little too late! Then i made some rock buns Which was fun
In the evening we found out that the builders had made a little mistake, and put a wall in, which made a kink in a major power line! So at 6pm a van pulled up outside out door, and 3 men start drilling to fix what the builders did! Which was very loud, and disturbed a quiet house…
As if things couldn’t get worse, at about 7.30 me, mark and xi were in the Kitchen (directly above the drilling) And out of nowhere there was a massive bang, which sounded just like a bomb or something, the kitchen shook and all the lights on the street went off and on again. Along with a lot of shouting from the guy drilling!! We later found out that he had then drilled into the power line! So we were going to have to go without electricity for a couple of hours cos that now needs fixing! So at 9pm all the power in our house and all the surrounding streets was just taken right out, to fix it, which means the candles came out, and it was freezing because our door was also open because they had to drill from the basement! The power didn’t come on till 2am while they were still working! Nice! But we watched the bank Job on a laptop, and just sat round chatting n stuff so it was alright in the end! fun fun!
Builders + Electicians = No heating
