Had quite a relaxing weekend its been good! yestersday i went out with the word on the street guys! tried handing out some alpha fliers and realised i’m really bad at that! (this was on the main street in the centre of Oxford!) it was hard, but the main idea of it was to basically go with guitars n stuff and jus worship in the street! so i then gave that a go which i really enjoyed, played some of my songs, some phil wickham songs n just sang out God’s glory in the streets which was good! we had some chineese guys come up to me n Lekai (who played some bongos), they obviously thought we were traditional english buskers! and started taking photo’s with us ha! One woman even made the effort to place some money on our amp (cos obviously we didn’t have a pot for it cos that wasn’t the point!
So yeh all in all i quite enjoyed it in the end, so lets hope some people turn up at alpha and get saved!
On tuesday we have the alpha training evening which i’m leading worship at. Then alpha kicks off next tuesday which is very exciting! Though i am also quite scared about leading worship there each week cos it will be a new thing n stuff! but its all good
I lead worship at children’s church this morning which i actually really enjoyed! its like holiday club every week here ha its awesome!
Man and also i went to blackwells yesterday, and never before have i been so impressed in a bookshop! its insane!!! apparntly the biggest in europe! next time i will take photo’s its so huge! but for now, here’s the beautiful place that is Christ Church meadows, right outside my doorstep, literally!
i must say this has been my most awkward blog write, my power cable for my laptop has broke, the only way it would work was for one hand to hold it perfectly still in one position! i now have a very aching hand!
